Yes, an excellent place for children
15.00 a day small, 20.00a day large. My family of four, with a large backpack did fine with a large. You can get as many wrist tags you want so everyone can have one to open the locker. No key is needed provided, it uses a bar code to open.
Yes there is. There's a wave pool, water coasters, and more.
No
Any major ride like a rollercoaster that doesn't allow you to have bags have lockers right beside the line that give you 2 hours for free to store the bag. Anyone on here saying they make u pay clearly have not been in that park in a while. Yes there r lockers u pay for but there r ones beside the rides for FREE.
Yes, several water atractions
Absolutely. Chocolate World is right at the entrance to the park. Once you've completed your Chocolate World activities, you'll be able to head right into the park with plenty of time to enjoy the rides and games. The alternative would be to enjoy the park first, then go to Chocolate World on your way out; it just depends on your preference. Chocolate World opens an hour before the park for regular ticket holders, so you might start there just because you could do it first, again, entirely up to your preference.
I went May 12. It started drizzling and they didn't close anything. Then there was thunder, so they closed all of the coasters and most of the smaller rides. After one hour, you can get another ticket to go again.
They are ADA compliant and can accommodate persons with disabilities. If you have a disability such as celiac you might want to be more careful. Even though they are serve safe certified we witnessed them cross contaminate a customer's food right in front of him after he had just explained his situation. Luckily it was right in front of him. Imagine if he hadn't seen it!
The line is not that long but u will have to wail a while
Very poor venue. Plastic chair seating. Bleacher style seating. Seating is vague and unclear. Venue is disgusting. People are paying upwards of $100 from Ticketmaster for plastic chairs where they have to fight for their seat because they’re not marked properly. Bathrooms are from the 1950s and there’s a lack of them. Employees are all above 65 and are extremely confused on regular service from seat checking to drinks to food. Parking is free that’s great. The music itself is loud if the The band you’re seeing brings the right amount of equipment. The band that’s playing there has absolutely nothing to do with the dirty venue itself. I saw blink-182 last night they were amazing doesn’t take away the fact that Gary at the drink cart was too old to understand that straws were available at his location 🤷🏼♂️👎🏻
Great venue for concerts, quick in and out. The only downside is that you have to walk like 2 miles from your car across the busy intersection to the stadium. (they do have crossing guards so that's a plus)
Hands down one of the best venues around... great views, the staff is always there to lend a hand and the vendors are plentiful. Easy in easy in and out parking
Great outdoor venue. Really enjoyed all the concerts we've been to. My only concern was parking with so many attractions depending on time of year it can be a challenge.
Was there yesterday and what a cluster! Gates were to open at 7:30 with the show starting at 8:00. Did not get to a security checkpoint until around 8:12 after standing in one of many ridiculously long lines. Very poor signage for the various types of tickets. I watched people finally get to a gate only to be told they were at a wrong one. Once we finally got to the gate security were not checking purses or bags, so what was the point of security? After the concert was over the exit was the most challenging part of this journey! We sat for 58 minutes before our tires even began to rotate and once we did start to move it took another 16 minutes to exit the parking lot. There were traffic control people who did not have the slightest clue on what they were doing. I have been to various concerts and sporting events and never encountered any think like I experienced. I can say that this was my first and last concert at Hersheypark Stadium!
Great acoustics. Comfortable space in the stands for dancing and movement. Had a good atmosphere about it. I will for sure be making another trip sometime to this venue!! Only negative thing was that there was not enough staff ushering people to their seats. It was kind of a free for all with finding seats.
The Luke Bryan concert was AWESOME! The stadium isn't clearly marked for seating or where entrances are, though. I was surprised that it wasn't a larger venue. There aren't many restrooms, which led to super long lines. Staff did the best they could to help out and to speed up lines at the gate.
Stadium was ok. Some of the ushers were pretty rude. Kudos to the parking lot staff for getting us a spot close to the stadium as we had a handicapped placard. Concert was great. They really need to give some training to their event staff in how to deal with the public though.
Everything was decent and I enjoyed my concert here, I however didn't appreciate the fact that one of the vendors decided to charge me 9$ for moonshine. If your paying 9$ for moonshine you should be getting more than 1.5 oz and some ice. When I brought the issue up, the vendor very rudely replied "you wanted it cold didnt you?" Honestly if I wanted water I could of got it free from somewhere else, I paid for moonshine not water.
Let's just say I was park of the BSB situation with the thunderstorm..... Wasn't a pleasent experience... But I went back the second time and it was enjoyable hearing my favorite band.... Going back again for JOJO
Parking is horrible, traffic is always a mess security can't handle traffic what so ever. Not the fault of the staff but management. Drink prices are horrible, sound is ok as long as your not in the back and hear that horrible slap back delay. Entrance is very small for such a huge arena, and ticket prices are average.
It was a great concert, but I had to walk in the rain for like I don't know what clothes to a mile I believe to get from the bad muddy parking lot to the venue and then you had to go in without an umbrella. So you stood in the rain in the open and then when you got out they directed you into this place where you had to jump a fence and cross a busy highway to get back to your car. It was horrible. It was dangerous. I hated it. . However Van Morrison and Willie Nelson were spectacular
Great stadium! I've seen many concerts here and have always enjoyed them. The staff is very professional and friendly and the prices are pretty great. I would recommend this stadium to anyone!
Great venue. It's big so it's pretty far from the stage in the stands, but still a good experience. Not too much variety in concessions and bring cash as not all accept credit card. Reasonable prices for a venue.
It's so cool that they have rubber mats on the field for long standing days. $9 for a 16oz beer is a good deal. The staff weren't rude; I lit a cigarette in the field and was kindly shown the designated area to go. Everyone was kind and the food choices were awesome.
The park is beautiful they lack a tram system. If you go be prepared to walk for miles
The KiSS concert was really good even though we didn't get to finish watching. We had to leave because the seating was so uncomfortable (I think it was over price). The people behind us were drunk and loud and have foul mouth also standing on my space bench. My daughter wasn't happy watching the concert because of that. Never coming back there. I would rather go to arena at least the chair is more comfortable.
The concerts I've seen at the stadium all sounded exceptional, however the parking for the most recent concert I've attended was ridiculous. They directed us to park on the opposite side of the main road in a field, & to walk across. It was about a half an hour hike in 100 degree weather. Very upset that a venue this large apparently does not have adequate parking to accommodate all the concert-goers. My advice...if you go, arrive super early & wear your hiking sneakers.
Saw Beyonce's Formation Tour it was great and enjoyed the tram ride back to the parking lot.
Incredible concert with some incredible friends. I recommend parking across the street. It is much easier to leave and the security lines are about 1/10th the length of what the other side are.
The venue itself was fine. The parking situation is HORRENDOUS.It took a total of two hours to walk to our car and exit the parking area after the concert. Also there was a lack of ushers helping people to their correct seats. Traffic getting in and out of parking, before and after the show was just brutal. It took us nearly 30 minutes to drive mile and find parking.
The $22 million upgrade is really showing now .Many changes
Our family really enjoy the trip from New Wilmington PA to Hersheypark Stadium four playoff games and the food is very good there
We went to a Def Leppard & Heart concert here a few years ago. It was a very good show. Parking for the show was simple to get in and out compared to shows I've been to in Pittsburgh. It was definitely worth the drive from Dunbar PA to see the show...
Attended an event here and found it easy to access, great handicap accessibility which was needed and enjoyed the experience. Nothing negative to report which is saying a lot for any stadium experience. Well done Hershey.
It's so big and so many people can fit in the stadium, and it's a great place for concerts!
Nice stadium. A lot of events held at the historic stadium. Just so much that goes on here and it's clean well maintained. Great to see a concert here too.
My favorite vendor for concerts both indoor and outdoor. Very clean which is what I enjoy. And the walk isn’t too long no matter how far away you park (like other stadiums I have gone to).
It's a little crammed seating for a concert with bleacher seats of aluminum. The food stands had good food and service with reasonable prices. I would visit again for a concert or sporting event.
Went here to see Breaking Benjamin, Chevelle, Three Days Grace, Dorothy, and Diamante. 3rd time I've seen a concert here. The stadium is great and well kept. The concerts are always well done!
Went to see Kiss. Nice venue. Could have been more organized. Had to wait 1 and a half for concert to start.
The stadium is great, and a fun place to go see an outdoor concert (so long as the weather cooperates). The prices for concessions are an incredible value. However, getting out of the stadium after a concert is a nightmare. They need additional support to direct traffic both out of the parking lots and on the local roadways. The parking lots are dangerous during the times immediately following a concert, and it can take over an hour to get out of the parking lot (once, it took me 2.5 hours...)
Outdoor stadium. Shared parking with Hershey Park and Giant Center. Lots of stadium seating. Even with a packed house, there is still lots of room to maneuver around everyone. Stadium is multi-purpose and was very kept clean when I attended for a concert. Lots of knowledgeable staff that will help if needed.
Always a great venue! Wasn't the best seating set up unless you are super skinny.....but still managed to have a great time.
On August 21, 2019 I saw KISS with my brother and sister- in- law !!!! The first time any of us saw KISS. Great, Great, Great concert. They had a Great set list !!!! It reminded me of a Grateful Dead concert !!!! I guess both groups have a pretty big following. The KISS concert was everything I hoped for and more. Oh yeah, my brother and sister- in- law got me my ticket for my birthday !!!! What a Great 46th. Birthday present that was !!!!!!!!!!
The concert and view were great, but we had to park at least a mile away, across the road from the park. Hershey didn't provide any trolley service like they do in the main parking lots. I had no problem with the distance, but it was a long walk for others.
One of my favorite concert venues I’ve ever been to! I’ve been coming here for the past 3 years for concerts, and it always impresses me. The stadium is huge, the food is good, prices are reasonable (as far as stadium prices go), and the scenery is lovely. I look forward to attending many more events here!
Was here last week for TJ vs Dallas. TJ won 46-7. They had very good food, seats, ect. Fun time!
Attended a football game here. Was a great experience overall. Great food and great seats.
Wow. What an amazing night at the Jonas Brothers concert and with 35,000 people! Perfect weather and setting. Staff was great. Yeah getting out of the parking lot was a pain, but what do you expect with that many people. Relax. Not sure why all these negative comments from the attendees of the Backstreet Boys concert. Hershey can’t control the weather and it got rescheduled!
The venue more than made up for the first show. Better security and direction. The show was amazing for backstreet boys.
I’ve been to many concerts at the stadium but none have been as bad as the Jonas Brothers concert. The performance itself was amazing but parking was the worst I’ve ever seen. They had 35,000 people in a 30,000 capacity lot and no one to direct traffic. Concert goers were getting out of their cars and helping direct traffic after people had been sitting for an hour plus. When we eventually left the lot after about 2 hours, we saw all of the 10+ security/traffic guards chatting at a traffic light instead of directing traffic in the back lots. It’s obvious that once they have your money, there’s not much after thought.
This is a nice venue for very popular groups that you might see on much bigger stages
I love going to concerts I tend to go to about 10 a year. I missed Thomas Rhett is VA so I was gifted tickets to see him here. I hated this venue. We had to park by the Giant Center and it was a hike to get to the stadium. I'm short and I'm use to my view being obstructed but though we got there fairly early and were as close as we could be in the general admission section, the screens on the stage were too low and small. Not enough trash cans or no one really cared where they threw things as I was constantly stepping on trash. Security totally missed the two fights that almost broke out around me. The stadium staff was very nice and that's the only reason I gave it two stars. I understand that beer is cut off at 9:30 and though lines were long, staff got you through pretty quickly. It's a nice stadium but should not be a concert venue.
The stadium is great for outside concerts as long as the weather is nice. There is no cover for rain and the metal seats make it a bit dangerous in lightning. Security at the gate ensures everyone has a safe and fun experience. Beers are usually pretty expensive so make sure to pregame
Very well designed. Entering and exiting were very easy. They have a trolly carting you to and from the parking aria. Leaving the venue after the show was amazing going eastbound. No holdup at all. The sound was better than average. Biggest complaint being there was something wrong with the bass. For once the bass sounded clear, fast, and pleasant. However it sounded like it was clipping or their was a faze issue. I noticed two lines of drivers on either side of the stage. Two of the cabinets per line were put in backwards. I assume the designers flipped the faze on those cabinets. That being said if the drivers aren't lined up on each other there will be cancellations. The top end sounded only slightly harsh. It sounded better than most concert hall PA systems. I was sitting in the section closest to the stage.
Great field for marching band championships! And lovely seating
Great concert by Luke Bryan! Awesome venue!
